Although it has not been out for an elongated period of time the 2008 Chevy Malibu continues to turn heads. It’s excellent as far as fuel economy is concerned. Fuel economy is the main subject on everyone’s minds before they even think about purchasing a vehicle. This vehicle is great in this department so you should not have any qualms.

You will be able to get an estimated 20-25 miles per gallon with the 2008 Chevy Malibu. This vehicle offers impeccable style accompanied with overwhelming refinement and of course excellent overall performance.

The Malibu comes in four different trim levels, or styles whichever you prefer to call the vehicle. There are the LS, 1LT, 2LT, as well as the LTZ. Each style has its own individual perks that allow it the opportunity to stand out from the other styles that the 2008 Chevy Malibu has to offer.

The LS style comes equipped with 16 inch steel wheels as well as a keyless entry. All of your accessories inside as well as out are full power accessories, and you also get an OnStar navigational system. With the 1LT the thing that makes this style different from the others is its steering wheel mounted audio controls along with its 17 inch alloy wheels. The 2LT style comes with a remote start engine, as well as adjustable pedals and seats that warm up.

The last style or trim of the 2008 Chevy Malibu is the LTZ version. This is noted as being the luxury style of the vehicle. It comes with 18 inch alloy wheels, the interior is comprised of nothing but leather seating and it has a few other perks that the other Malibu styles lack. A traditional navigational system, as well as climate controls throughout the vehicle are two of the extra features that come with the LTZ version.

All of the different styles of the 2008 Chevy Malibu are equipped with a standard V6 engine. However for extra fuel economy you have the option of selecting a 4 cylinder engine for your vehicle.

In safety ratings the Malibu scored a good rating. The anti-lock brakes are definitely up to par. The inside cab of the vehicle comes equipped with front side as well as passenger side airbags in case there is a collision, you will be plummeted on soft pillows per say. Both the LT as well as the LTZ versions of the Malibu come equipped with stability control.

The 2008 Chevy Malibu allows drivers the opportunity to engage in one of the smoothest rides they have ever experienced. Chevy has always been a trusted name on the market, and the 2008 Chevy Malibu is nothing short of all the excellent vehicles that Chevy avidly manufactures.

I recently stopped down at J Signs located at 12 Highland ave in Patchogue. I met the Owners Jerome Morello and Craig Casdia, Who told me about all the things J signs can do to Help promote your Business these guys do Store Front Signage, Wide Format Digital Printing,Carved/Gold Leaf Signs,Contour cut decals,Channel Letters,Truck & Boat Lettering, Banners, Magnetic Signs,Window / Door Lettering,Installations, Service, Repairs, Architectural Signage and so much more I could write 5 articles of these guys!

In this articles I’m going to tell you about J signs Vehicle Wraps! The Wraps are done in House at J Signs by Duncan Weir owner of Graphic Gorilla! Now when I got to J signs I had no idea what Vehicle Wraps where, Duncan was more then happy to teach me a little about Wraps.Duncan was working on a Mini Van while I was their placing a wrap on it for a pet care company. Wraps feel almost like a vinyl bumper sticker But of course they are much more state of the art and High tech then that. Duncan had to go to school to learn all about wraps,He also has a Bachelors in fine art,Computer Graphics Specializing in 3-D Graphics. He showed me how the wraps come off in large sheets and then are apply to the Vehicle in pieces and are then heated so they bond to the Vehicle seamlessly. Wraps will stay on till you want to take them off , a wrap can be removed in the future so if you can sell your vehicle one day with out the wrap on it. The paint under the wrap will be as good as the day you placed the wrap on it.

This is just one thing that sets Vehicle Wraps apart from having your Vehicle air brushed! another is the detail of the wraps you get! You can blow up a real photo or have the team at Graphic Gorilla design you up anything from a professional Corporate look to anything your loud and crazy mind can come up with! Vehicle Wraps are not new they have been around a few years and they are huge in California. The quality of wraps has improved greatly over the years and the Wraps that are used at J signs are state of the art.

The average wrap lasts over Five years and if taken care of properly can last up to ten years! I asked Duncan, who are some of the people having their vehicle’s wrapped? He told me many Radio Stations and Travel agencies are having it Done,But many Business are realizing as they sit in traffic for 3 or 4 hours a day and hundreds of people are driving by them in each direction, Wraps really make them stand out and catch the eye of those who could potently be clients. Recently their was a study done that said about 30 to 70 thousand people a month see your Vehicle! Vehicles that are wrapped are remembered up to 80% more! Now More people seeing and remembering your Vehicle translates into more money for you and your company!

Now of course there are many people who want to stand out while just cruising around and they are finding they can have wraps made up of everything from insane designs to their favorite Band,Beverage or Hero and put on their vehicle. Duncan also told me that he can wrap just about anything from Motorcycles,Tool box’s, to walls in your Home!!!

In my opinion wraps are going to be the next big thing! An average Mini Van costs about $3,700 to Wrap that’s an average cost of about $15 a square foot and that price includes 16 hours worth of design time,Printing of the Wrap, The installation of it on your Vehicle and Duncan will also show you how to take care of your Wrap as you never wax it but instead apply a glaze and hand wash it with soap and water. Call Duncan and J Signs at 631-758-0707 to learn more about Vehicle Wraps or check them out on the web at jsignsinc.com

With the recent decrease in oil prices, you may be eager to get back into the transportation game with the potential of making a decent return in certain equities. One of these specific equities could be General Motors (GM). While may experts are hyping the motion that oil is on its way down for an extended period of time, my views tend to differ which may not make GM as enticing as it is now.

Cringing on the future market of oil commodities, GM shows an incredible inverse relationship in terms its points juxtaposed to the price of oil. For example from 2004 to the beginning of 2006, an accurate representation of when oil prices escalated at its highest peak, shares of GM fell from near 55 points to close to 20 points in April of 2006. While the stock has made a small come back to near 35 dollars as of September of 2006, such an increase is unfortunately due to the decrease in oil as the dependency on oil is more extreme than almost any other factor. Since GM is highly touted for its truck and SUV lines, the big gasoline consumers, sales are directly affected by gas prices to such an extreme that if prices of oil climb enough, sales may become inverted as consumers may exchange their GM trucks or vans for more efficient automobiles produced by different companies. Such a transition will hurt GM’s fundamentals and future guidance placing immense pressure for big institutions to sell their shares.

Now, you may be reading such a sentiment and be thinking that oil prices have fallen nearly 13% over the last few weeks which make this a perfect buying opportunity for GM. While the logic seems reasonable, in the rational expectations of the stock market, the reverse thinking will always bring in more positives than negatives. With such a sentiment of bliss surrounding shareholders of GM, shares will rise for the duration of the period of low oil prices. With this in mind, shares may increase a few percentage points for the next few weeks causing some capital gains. If you do tend to hold on to your shares for this period, I would advise selling around the 35 to 40 point range, if GM is ever to reach a number again. One innocuous looking cell in the Atlantic Ocean positioned to assail the Gulf of Mexico can have the effect of causing oil prices to go back to the 80 dollar range. It’s still hurricane season, there are still ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, and the oil market is a very volatile one. Investors may ask why prices are going down so much during September. The reason is because of a hiatus of intense conflict in the Middle East and a reluctant hurricane pattern, but any small disturbance, even just a rumor may have a tremendous negative effect on oil and shares of GM.

Fundamentals are another reason why GM should not be in your portfolio. Supporting negative margins in terms of revenue and a huge drop in net income to the point of negative numbers in the last few years shows the correlation of how oil has affected the numbers for this company. Operating margins are terrible as is the decrease in total assets relative to the increase in total liabilities. The company is supporting a negative EPS of nearly 20 cents, and while dividend payout may look favorable at 1.00, there is no justification in other areas to compliment this one bright spot. Thus, as oil has probably reached its floor in terms of price at around 60 dollars, expect prices of oil to increase in the following weeks as temperatures get colder into the first week of fall. With that will come GM’s eventual decline back into the mid to low 20s with no optimism that investors can look at. If you do own GM shares, I would advise selling at such a price, and if you want to still have transports in your portfolio, companies like Honda and Toyota are excellent alternatives that produce automobiles suited for higher oil prices.
